An important actor for raising awareness and collective engagement in the fields of green energy as well as the first exhibition for solar pumping in Morocco, the International Exhibition for Solar Pumping and Green Energies (SIPSEV), under the aegis of the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Sustainable Development, is about to instigate its 5th edition. The event is sponsored by the Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency (AMEE) and is in partnership with the Regional Council of Souss-Massa, the Commune of Agadir in addition to various professional associations operating in green energies, universities and a multitude of foreign Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
After 4 felicitous editions, SIPSEV has been able to procure a tacit impact in the domains of green energy- especially in solar pumping. This zone of learning and promotion is growing in both size and experience to better inform and attend to farmers, professionals, institutions, and businesses on the regional, national and international level.
The 5th edition of the exhibit will take place in Agadir, Morocco from 19 to 23 of June in Place Al-Amal.
In its efforts to involve its African counterparts in the adoption of alternative energies, the exhibition is planning on hosting an African delegation to jumpstart an effective intra-continental exchange.
Concurrently, several activities are planned with the intention of fostering a more dexterous outcome, namely; conferences, formations, workshops, conventions, a green contest, in-site visits and a green employment forum.
Subsequently, the main objectives of SIPSEV are as follows: the promotion of the usage of solar pumping systems, the reinforcement of the know-how of all parties involved, raising awareness, promoting the available funding/financing mechanisms, and contributing to the normalization of solar installations.
